Curriculum Vitae

Liliya Cauchi (Pangelova) - Contemporary artist, educator and researcher based in Gozo, Malta.

​

In 2009, she graduated from Nikolay Raynov College of Arts, Sofia with area of specialisation Sculpture. She obtained Bachelors Degree in Porcelain and Glass Design at the National Art Academy, Sofia, followed by Masters Degree in Ceramics and Glass Design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Istanbul. Between 2019-2021 she completed a Master in Teaching and Learning in Art degree at the University of Malta.

In 2020, she was nominated for the National award for exceptional talents in the arts and science funded by "13 Centuries of Bulgaria" National fund. 

​

At present, she works as a full-time Visual Arts Educator in various government schools across Malta and as a part-time Art Educator in Drawing and Painting at MAVC, Gozo. She takes part in research projects, delivers lectures and practical workshops in arts education, ceramics art and design, and glass archaeology.
